Online Facilitation is the process of designing and running an effective and successful online meeting. It involves a trained facilitator employing techniques to improve the flow of information between multiple parties within a group in order to reach a pre-determined objective. Objectives may include building or restoring relationships, making a decision, solving a problem, or exchanging ideas and information.
Levels of Facilitators
Facilitator Levels
★★★ FACILITATORS
These facilitators have at least 40 hours of facilitation training and at least 500 hours of facilitation experience, and subscribe to Peace Peddlers’ required standards of facilitation practice.
★★ FACILITATORS
These facilitators have at least 20 hours of facilitation training and facilitated at least 50 meetings for at least 200 hours, and subscribe to Peace Peddlers’ required standards of facilitation practice.
★ FACILITATORS
These facilitators have at least 10 hours of facilitation training and facilitated at least 10 meetings for at least 40 hours, and subscribe to Peace Peddlers’ required standards of facilitation practice.

Groups using consensus decision-making, a process that involves all members of the group reaching an agreement that is acceptable to everyone, require the assistance of a trained Agreement-Making Facilitator. Facilitators trained in consensus agreement-making can help guide your group through the collaborative process toward achieving group success.

Restorative Conferences
Restorative Conferences provide opportunities for individuals harmed by a wrongdoing to share their feelings with the offender, resolve problems and restore relationships. Guided by a Restorative Conference Facilitator, victims play an active role in addressing the wrongdoing committed by the offender in order to make things right.
