Online Coaching is the process of supporting a learner in achieving a specific personal or professional objective or goal. It involves a trained coach providing training and guidance in a specific subject matter in an online setting. Subjects include personal and interpersonal conflict resolution, communication, and emotional intelligence, to name a few.
Levels of Coaches
These coaches have at least 40 hours of coaching training and at least 500 hours of coaching experience, and subscribe to Peace Peddlers’ required standards of coaching practice.
These coaches have at least 20 hours of coaching training and coached at least 50 coaching sessions for at least 200 hours, and subscribe to Peace Peddlers’ required standards of coaching practice.
These coaches have at least 10 hours of coaching training and coached at least 10 coaching sessions for at least 40 hours, and subscribe to Peace Peddlers’ required standards of coaching practice.

Communication often creates conflict and is the vehicle for the productive management of conflict. Without good communication, there is no negotiation or collaborative problem solving. Communication coaches can help you learn the basics of good communication so you are able to productively manage and resolve conflict.
Conflict Coaching (Interpersonal)
Individual’s needing help engaging in, managing or productively resolving conflict with other individuals often look to conflict coaches for help. A trained conflict coach will work with the individual to determine what will best enable him or her to manage a specific dispute with another individual or conflict in general.
Conflict Coaching (Personal)
Individual’s needing help engaging in, managing or productively resolving a personal conflict look to conflict coaches for help. A trained conflict coach will work with the individual to determine what will best enable him or her to manage a specific personal conflict or conflict in general.
Emotional Intelligence Coaching
Conflicts trigger strong emotions. However, effectively resolving conflict requires you manage your emotions, and managing your emotions requires you possess emotional intelligence. Emotional Intelligence (EQ) coaches work with individuals to increase their EQ, so they are able to effectively manage and resolve conflict.
It is normal for couples to experience conflict from time to time. While not inherently negative, conflict can become detrimental to relationships if not managed properly. Marital Coaches work one-on-one with the individual to manage a specific marital conflict or conflict in general.
Mindfulness is paying attention, on purpose, to whatever is going on in the present moment, without passing judgment on it. It is a useful skill to have in preventing, managing, and resolving conflict. Mindfulness reduces stress, improves emotional balance, and increases self-awareness. Mindfulness Coaches work one-on-one with the individual to improve his or her mindfulness.
People negotiate all the time. Whether in your personal, social or business life, knowing how to negotiate is an essential, everyday skill. Negotiation skills are even more important when facing a conflict situation. Having the ability to peacefully and effectively resolve conflict requires negotiation skills. Negotiation Coaches work with individuals to manage a specific negotiation or negotiation in general.
Stress Management Coaching
Stress is your body’s way of responding to conflict, demand or threat, and can be acute, episodic or chronic. Stress may arise from triggers such as personal or interpersonal conflict, traumatic experiences, or physical and mental depletion. The buildup of stress can negatively impact your mental and physical health, and relationships. Stress Management coaches work one-on-one with individuals to reduce and respond appropriately to stressors.
