Mission | Our Approach | The Nature of Conflict
To reduce the negative expression of conflict by mobilizing and deploying resources for conflict resolution training and interventions.
What we do
We provide conflict resolution education and intervention services to teachers and students around the globe.
Why we do it
Because we care about the health and well-being of our children, teachers, families, schools and communities.
Because conflict exists and often is expressed violently, we believe people ought to possess the knowledge and skills to resolve conflict peacefully.
Why we are successful
It’s our donors, customers, sponsors, members and employees who makes Peace Peddlers® so successful — and makes us optimistic that we can expand our conflict resolution work to meet the challenges ahead.
We believe peace is a process, an outcome, a state of mind, a state of being, a lifestyle, and a choice. We believe peace can be achieved by empowering people with the knowledge, skills and confidence to peacefully resolve conflict, and providing assistance to individuals needing help resolving conflict.
We take a partnership approach to increase peace in the world, recognizing the greatest impact is achieved through collective effort. As a peace building organization, we view our customers and members as partners in the effort to increase peace in the world. We pride ourselves in working with our partners to provide peace education to teachers and students around the globe. Simply put, proceeds from our Peace Academy, Peace Forum, and Peace Shop help support our Project: Peace Peddlers™ and Project: Peace Now™ programs.
THE PEACE FORUM
The Peace Forum is an online space where individuals can locate and hire an online mediator, facilitator or coach and have their services accomplished.
